The Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, Inc was founded in 1974 as a non-profit fraternal organization consisting of active and retired law enforcement officers who enjoy riding motorcycles. What started as several officers in Bangor, Maine has grown to nearly 20,000 members in over 600 Chapters represented by 11 Conferences in 26 Countries!
New Jersey III is a proud Chapter of the Blue Knights organization. We are one of 13 Chapters in New Jersey. Our membership consists of both active and retired Federal, State, County and Local law enforcement officers. Currently, we have 40 members in our Chapter. We conduct weekly rides and hold monthly meetings. We are not a Harley only Club and you do not have to be a member to ride with us. Our rides are open to everyone!
Knights in the Woods Motorcycle Ride & BBQ
Every year, we hold our Knights in the Woods motorcycle ride and BBQ. This year’s event is Sunday, August 6, 2017, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine, at The Deutscher Club of Clark, 787 Featherbed Ln, Clark, NJ 07066. Click to view/download the flyer.
Ride registration is at 9 a.m. At 10:15 a.m. there will be a safety briefing and a ceremony honoring our fallen brothers and sisters. Kickstands will go up at 11 a.m. sharp. The picnic will run from noon to 5 p.m. The picnic is open to the entire public, rider and non-rider alike. Non-riders are more than welcome to come earlier in the day to look at all of the motorcycles.
The cost of this event is $25/person, and children under 10 are FREE. The cost includes continental breakfast, BBQ lunch, beverages, and door prizes. There will be vendors, a raffle, a kids playground, as well as live music by Ruff Edges.
