05/24/2026 – RIDE CANCELLED – Dawn Patrol Annual Memorial Day Lime Dot Ride & Picnic

UPDATED INFO: This ride was postponed by Dawn Patrol due to weather – but the decision was made to Cancel this ride for this year because the club already has a scheduled ride on the date this ride was rescheduled for.
This is the annual Dawn Patrol Memorial Day Lime Dot Ride.
A scenic ride usually encompassing a route that covers points in Somerset & Hunterdon Counties and perhaps Morris and/or Warren Counties.
The cost is $25/pp which provides all you can eat and drink, live music and a chance at some door prizes.
Silver Ladies sewing should be on site providing sewing services should you need patches sewn onto your vest.
Muster is at the QuickChek, 361 Union Ave, Bridgewater NJ, with KSU at 9:15 am.
If you plan to ride you MUST RSVP to Keith @ 914.772.2350.
Please arrive at QuickChek at 9:00 am with a full tank of fuel and an empty bladder.

05/17/2026 – Theme Ride: PA-125 w/Lunch at Skeeter’s BBQ

We will be riding I-78 to PA-125 which is known as the “Tail of the Dragon” of PA.
The 32 mile PA-125 route follows a winding alignment through mountains and valleys in the western part of the PA Coal Region.
At the terminus of PA-125 there is a 19 mile ride up to Skeeters BBQ where we will visit our 2nd BBQ themed lunch destination.
We will ride I-80 back to NJ through the Delaware Water Gap.
This is a 206 mile ride from the Muster point to the destination restaurant., mostly highway miles until we reach PA-125.
Muster Point is the QuickChek, 361 Union Ave, Bridgewater, NJ. KSU at 8:30 am Sharp!! EZ PASS is a MUST for this ride.

05/09/2026 – Rescheduled Ride – High Point Monument & Lunch at Jimmy Gee’s

We will be riding to the High Point Monument, in High Point State Park.
Following a short period of observation at the monument, we will ride through the Highlands of Wantage and Highland Lakes to the destination lunch at Jimmy Gee’s in Oak Ridge.
This is approximately a 100 mile ride to the lunch destination. Mostly highway miles to High Point and then scenic miles to the restaurant.
The Muster Point is Manny’s Diner, 1030 Raritan Rd in Clark, NJ. KSU @ 10:00 am SHARP! EZ PASS is a MUST for this ride.

05/02/2026 – Update: Bike Blessing – St. Joseph School – Carteret

This event is not a ride but rather as the post indicates, a Bike Blessing.
If you would like to have your bike blessed for the 2026 riding season, please proceed individually, directly to the Saint Joseph School located at 865 Roosevelt Ave, Carteret NJ.
Please arrive no later than 10:45 am, and look for BKNJ III Supporter Joe Yapkiewicz.

05/03/2026 – Ride to Jim Thorpe PA – Old Jail Museum, Lunch at Roadies Restaurant

This is a mostly 81 mile scenic ride to Jim Thorpe, PA where we will tour the haunted historic Carbon County Jail.
The guided tour is approximately 30 mins and admission tickets (cash preferred) are $13, $11 for Veterans with ID.
Following the tour there is a short 6 mile ride to Roadies Restaurant and Bar where we will have lunch with a view (weather permitting).
Muster Point is QuickChek, 360 Union Ave (Rt 28), Bridgewater, NJ.
KSU @ 9:30 SHARP!
Please arrive 15 Minutes prior to KSU, with a full tank of fuel and an empty bladder!
