For those of you looking for another gift giving ride, our brothers in NJ-II have extended us an invitation to join them next Sunday, Dec 2nd on a Toy Run into NYC. Jersey Shore HOG will be hosting their annual Rockefeller Center Tree/Toy Ride. Due to the ever increasing popularity of this ride, the ride is restricted to members of Jersey Shore HOG and “Blue Knights” ONLY! This is due to limited parking and pedestrian safety at Rockefeller Center. The Blue Knights add-on is thanks to the efforts of NJ-XV; they escort the ride along with NJ-II into the City. You must wear your Colors to participate.

The ride will depart from the Cheesequake Service Area on the GSP (mm 123) promptly at 9:00 am under a NJ-XV escort. It will then merge with riders under NJ-II escort at the Burger King outside of the Holland Tunnel entrance; 185 12th St, Jersey City, NJ. NJ-II’s muster time is 9:00 am at the Burger King. They are anticipating a 9:30 am KSU from Burger King. PAPD will provide a marked escort through the tunnel and into Manhattan.

All riders are “EXPECTED” to have E-ZPass and “at least” one (1) unwrapped toy – no stuffed animals. I’m sorry, I don’t know what hospital or organization is accepting the toys.
