For those of you opposed to riding in NYC, here’s something in Jersey for you; the 19th Annual Elvis Run – a Firefighter Memorial Motorcycle Ride. This year’s ride will benefit the “Firefighter Michael J DeLane Memorial Fund” and is hosted by the Streets of Fire MC. The ride starts at Boro Plaza in Rockaway and ends in Newark at Edison Pl. Based upon what’s listed on the Streets of Fire website, it is an “ALL” highway “Police Escorted” ride into Newark. Registration is from 8:30 am until 10:45 am. No cost is listed on any available information. I would figure for at least $25/person. Our muster point for this ride will also be the Union Plaza Diner on US-22 at Springfield Rd in Union; KSU @ 9:00 am.
