Wreaths Across America
NJTP
This year’s Wreaths Across America: Escort to Arlington is scheduled to pass through New Jersey on Wednesday, Dec 12th. We will be supporting the Patriot Guard Riders with their escort of the wreath laying convoy through New Jersey. Each year the convoy departs Maine and heads to Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia to place wreaths on the graves of our departed military personnel. The goal is to place 200,000 “plus” wreaths! This will be the 20th year of the program!
All New Jersey Riders are asked to muster at the Vince Lombardi Service Area (mm 116) on the New Jersey Turnpike (I-95) at 8:30 am. The convoy is scheduled to depart the service area at 10:00 am and make stops in Liberty State Park in Jersey City and the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Holmdel to conduct Memorial Services on it’s way to Bordentown to stop for the night. Please consider this an all-day-ride and please dress accordingly; you will be outside most of the day if not all day.
For “NJ-III” our muster point to ride up to Vince Lombardi will be the Union Plaza Diner on US-22 at Springfield Rd in Union; KSU at 8:00 am.
